Just the appetisers...=)

Be Reminded tht the gathering has been changed to 16th June! Do check your email sent by MR Leo...

I would like to share with you guys a little bit abt our 8days trip to INdonesia. There will be ore updates with proper pictures taken using the school camera( which is not with me now). as of now, the updates will be random things based on the pictures i have in my personal camera. None of the pictures uploaded here should be reproduced or circulated without our permission.. or else... MR LEO.. will be very angry as in the picture on the right...

We really wished you guys were there so the first shot taken were dedicated to you guys...

We went to Borubudur, World's biggest Budhist temple constructed in the 8th century which im sure all of you are all too familiar with. There really is so much that we have to see there that even the 2hrs we were there were not enough. every level has its own story to tell... going clockwise, there are inscribed pictures on the walls to be read, deciphered. Sadly, there are many parts of the buddha statues missing, either the head, arm, fingers etc. Some were stolen by those who claimed they were doing excavations etc.

MR Leo, a teacher during the day, professional photographer at night.hee.. he was climbing and squating and squeeezing through to get good shots which he will upload when he gets back...

Again, MR LEo here.. well there is a belief that anyone who can put his hand through the holes of the stupa and touch the buddha's hands is said to have his wish granted. Of cuz our dearest MR LEO will not pass out the chance to get his wish(es) granted... hmmm, i wonder what he wished for... anyone want to guess?

One interesting place we visited was at Dieng Plateau Tour where there was a bubbling sulphuric crater ... here in the picture, you can see behind us the smoke from the bubbling sulphuric liquid from the crater. Even before we reached that spot, we saw some muddy areas bubbling which means the content below it is really hot. One thing to be known is that, the place is really smelly because of the sulphur. Apparently if you dig a hole and put an egg, it will cook. Do not forget to bring some the next time we go..=)

This last picture was taken at Prambanan, Indonesia's most beautiful Hindu Temple constructed 9th century. It was really badly damaged by the earthquake before this and restoration work is still ongoing to mix and match the pieces like doing jigsaw. The night before we went to restaurant which was facing this temple.. it was really nice to eat and see the temple illuminated in the background. After which we watched a Ramayana Ballet. THese pictures have to be uploaded sooon so we can share how nice the show was.

as for now, i guess the little updates are quite enough to entice you guys further... hee.. see all of you soon on the 16th!

By the way, we're planning to get RSP tshirts for all of u! any aspiring designers to design the tshirt?

TIll then, be safe.

love,
MS Shyamira.
