JOURNEY THROUGH YANGON ... (some facts on the Religon, Enthic Religon) to be continued soon

The legend of Shwedagon
1. Enthic Religion
People in Yangon had a unique dressing whereby some women had rings on their neck as they may think that that is a form of beautiful, people with "gold powders" on their faces. Below is a picture of different looks of citizens of Yangon. (Their different type of enthic costumes, religon, their make-up)

2. Religon
Most people in yangon believe in the buddisht religon. However, not every citizen of Yangon is a buddhist, many Karen and Kachin abd Kayah are Christians and the city consists of several chinese temples, churches and Malay Mosques.
(Until Now, I think that you all must be asking what Karen, Kachin and Kayah are)
Karen
Most Karen people live in the eastern border region of Burma in the Karen State, with some in Kayah State, Southern Shan State.
Facts: (As with many widely-used ethnonyms (e.g., Miao — Karen was originally applied pejoratively by enemies. However, the term has since been claimed by the Karen themselves as a badge of pride.) It was counted that in 2006, there were about 7 000 000 population of Karens in Burma. Other than that, there are another group of 400 000 Karen living in the hilly area of Thailand.
